  • How does it all work?

    I arrive on-site at your wedding 2-3 hours ahead of your ceremony/reception to get as much of the background done.

    Then, I snap photos of your special moment to work from for the rest of your event!

    By the end of the night, your painting will then be displayed for your guests to “ooh" & "ahh” at!

  • How long does it take to create a live wedding painting?

    For live paintings with minimal detail, it takes 4-6 hours done on-site; for more detail/more people, that takes 6-10 hours. When making a painting with more detail, it is finished about 80-90% onsite, 20-10% in-studio, and hand-delivered to you at a later date.
    For custom paintings, we will discuss a timeline that will be right for the piece based on size, varnishing time, and my calendar.

  • What is included in a live wedding painting package?

    A 100% custom painting for you & your fiance! Live guest entertainment for your guests during cocktail hour/reception! A take-home keepsake/the first heirloom of your brand-new family (you just created!) A certificate of authenticity. Free Zoom meeting before the wedding to get down all the details you want in your painting! And travel to your wedding, wherever that might be!

  • What kind of paintings do you do?

    I can paint with both acrylic and watercolor paint. They are two different kinds of work; both give a unique presence. We can discuss what media will be best for your painting and what you are looking for.

  • Can I include loved ones who have passed on into our painting?

    Yes, all I need is a reference photo of your loved one(s) to work from, and I can easily add them to your painting as if they were there in person.

    This is a perfect way for you to have all of your loved ones at your wedding and be a part of this big life moment!

  • Do you travel?

    Oh yes! I love to travel, and I would be more than happy to attend your day, wherever it may be!

    Please note: If the drive is over 40 miles from Milwaukee, WI, roundtrip, you will be asked to cover the IRS standard mileage rate of 65.5 cents per mile. Travel fees for destination weddings or events (more than 4 hours by car), will be customized in your package but typically cover travel, lodging, and time.

  • How can I book you?

    Booking is a simple process! After you book a free consultation call, we will chat on a Zoom meeting. We will work together to create a package that best suits your needs. After, I'll send over your contract to sign, then you’ll send over a 25% retainer to reserve your date!

  • How does payment work?

    For live events: Upon signing the contract, a 25% retainer is due to reserve your date. Final payment is required within 30 days before the wedding/event, but can be paid before!
    For custom paintings: It is on a case-by-case basis but usually pay in full.

  • Do I offer any other services for weddings & events??

    Yes, I do! Mini, custom, magnetic canvas guest favors, live guest portraits, and process memory books.

  • What is your painting style?

    I would say my style is close to ‘painterly.’ My goal is to capture my subjects and render them realistically while using brushwork and pigments to add texture and excitement to the piece.
